Part 1
Demi: Hey, Danny! I’ve got an idea!
One day after first period, Demi comes striding up to you.
Danny: Hey, Demi. You look particularly happy today. What’s up?
Demi: I just had the best idea to make this school a better place!
Danny: Do we need improvement that badly?
Demi: You know what I mean! At my last school, I tried to do all I could to help the student body as Class President. I figured, why not do the same here?
Danny: We must think alike! So, what’s your big idea?
Demi: Well, one thing I loved to do was bring students together… and what’s one of the best ways to do that?
Danny: Umm… With student clubs!
Demi: Exactly! What we need is a Club Fair! Heard of it?
Danny: Of course! A group of clubs gather and set up tables to spread the word about their clubs and get new members to sign up.
Demi: I was thinking we could organize one in the quad!
Danny: Sounds like a great idea!
Rewards
Danny: So what’s our first step?
Demi: We need to contact representatives from all of your school’s clubs.
Danny: I know just the people to call!
Part 2
Demi: Let’s speak to representatives of all your clubs…
You lead Autumn and Nishan to Demi, who is waiting in the quad with a clipboard.
Autumn: Hi.
Nishan: Yo.
Demi: Hey guys… where are the rest of the club reps?
Autumn: We’re it! I’m here on behalf of the Art Club.
Nishan: And I represent the Robotics Club, a.k.a. ‘The Cyborg Squad’, a.k.a. ‘Yung Geniu$ Krew’…
Danny: …there are technically only two active clubs on campus.
Demi: What?!
Autumn: It’s not the quantity that counts…
Nishan: …it’s the quality!
Nishan and Autumn smile and high-five, and then continue the steps of what turns out to be an elaborate multi-step handshake…
Demi: Oh boy…
Time - 8 hours
Autumn and Nishan finally finish their handshake, ending in a pantomimed fist-bump explosion!
Nishan: KA-BSSHHH!
Autumn: KA-BSSHHH!
Demi: That was very… charming, you two.
Nishan: I know, right! Clubs gotta stick together.
Autumn: We’re awesome sometimes.
Demi: But I’m afraid it won’t be much of a fair if we only have two clubs in attendance…
Nishan: Maybe the Robotics Club can make android Life Model Decoys to stand in for other clubs!
Autumn: Or maybe it’s the thought that counts!
Danny: Well… why don’t we just encourage some people to start brand new clubs?
Demi: Now that’s an idea I can get behind!
Nishan: New clubs? …we’ll need to choreograph more handshakes!
Autumn: Let’s go brainstorm!
Rewards
Demi: Have any potential club founders in mind, Danny?
Danny: There are a lot of people with fun, unique interests at our school. I’m sure I can find some friends who will want to start clubs!
Demi: Great to hear. Let’s go get ‘em!
Part 3
Demi: Know anyone who might want to start a club?
You find Kelsy, Ralph, and Marty relaxing in the shade of a tree on the edge of campus.
Danny: Hey, everyone! We’re looking for people to start new clubs! You guys interested?
Ralph: Start a club? Me?
Kelsy: I dunno… I had some pretty important plans to, like… chill out today.
Danny: It’s simple! You’re just gathering together people who share your interests.
Marty: Our interests, hmm?
Danny: Umm… what’s with that look, Marty? Am I going to regret this?
Time - 6 hours
After taking some time to brainstorm, Kelsy, Ralph, and Marty present you with their ideas for new clubs…
Kelsy: I’m starting something I like to call, the Chill Club.
Danny: Is that what I think it is?
Kelsy: Psssh, no way! It’s a club for people who like to chill out, or relax… and maybe chillax, but let’s start out simple.
Danny: That’s exactly what I thought it was.
Kelsy: Oh, then… yeah. Totally.
Ralph: Wait ’til you hear my idea! My club’s gonna be for fans of the great sport of Steer Wrestling!
Danny: Steer wrestling?
Marty: Does that mean… you make cows wrestle each other?
Kelsy: No way! Like in Pokemon?!
Ralph: Y’all never heard of steer wrestling? It’s a rodeo sport where they time how fast a rider can chase a steer down, hop off his horse, and wrestle it to the ground!
Danny: Oh! That’s… unorthodox. But hey, maybe it’ll catch on?
Marty: I have an idea for a club that’s bound to get a huge following…
Danny: Oh yeah?
Marty: A fanclub for me!
Danny: Well… we do need more clubs. I guess no idea is a bad idea.
Rewards
Danny: Hey, Demi! I found a few prospects for the Club Fair.
Demi: I know! Your friends have already emailed me asking to be a part of the fair! The Chill Club, the Steer Wrestling Club, the Marty Fan Club, all the applications are here! And the list is growing by the minute! Two different DJ clubs just signed up! Your friends must be spreading the word!
Danny: That’s great! Now we have enough for the Club Fair!
Demi: I can’t wait. Let’s go set up the quad!
Part 4
Demi: Let’s get this Club Fair underway!
Later that afternoon, after preparing the quad with tables and banners… the Club Fair is underway!
Danny: Wow! We actually have a pretty great turnout! There are a lot of clubs here!
Demi: Actually… this may be too many!
Danny: What do you mean?
Demi: Look… everyone has started their own clubs, so no one is looking to join anyone else’s!
You look around to see the entire crowd divided, each person isolated at their own table!
Danny: You’re right! There are three different clubs about comic books, two different recycling clubs… …and four different Beyonce fan clubs?
Just then, a heated pair of voices echoes from the dar side of the quad!
Demi: Come on! Let’s see what the problem is!
Time - 9 hours
You and Demi follow the shouting to two tables, where Priya and Kai have each set up banners for new clubs.
Priya: You’re way out of line, Kai! Your club has no right to judge mine! It shouldn’t even exist!
Kai: Your club is the ridiculous one! It’s pointless, and everyone knows it!
Danny: Whoa, whoa! What’s going on here?
Demi: What’s all the fighting about?
Kai: Simple. I asked Priya to join my club for true fans of electronic dance music. It’s called EDM United.
Danny: That sounds great! We were hoping these clubs would unite people…
Priya: Except all the true fans should join my club, The EDM Alliance!
Kai: Oh, please. I’ve heard what you think about EDM. There’s no way Complextro is a better sub-genre than Drumstep!
Priya: And I suppose we should all listen to your favorites? All Future Garage and Acid Breaks?
Danny: Are we still talking about music?
Priya and Kai continue bickering as Demi pulls you aside.
Demi: This is definitely not going the way I planned…

You and Demi step away from the quad to talk.
Demi: This Club Fair is a disaster! No one’s willing to come together! How can we fix this?
Danny: Don’t worry, Demi. I’ll help you get your confidence back.
Demi: Oh! That’s not what this is about.
Danny: It’s not? Oh… sorry, this usually goes a different way.
Demi: I’m confident that you and I can save this Club Fair. We just need a couple savvy advisors to help us strategize.
Danny: I think I know some people who’d be more than happy to help…
Part 5
Demi: I’ll need a cabinet of advisors…
You meet with Maddie and Brandon, who excitedly rush to shake Demi’s hand.
Maddie: Demi! Danny told us everything. It’d be an honor to serve on your advisory cabinet!
Demi: Oh! Well, it’s great to have you onboard!
Brandon: I’ve been prepping for this moment for years! I have my resume if you’d like to see it… with eight references!
Demi: That won’t be necessary. Let’s just get down to brass tacks.
Danny: Demi, I really think you could get the crowd in the quad back into the spirit of the Club Fair.
Brandon: A rousing speech?! I was hoping it’d be a rousing speech!
Maddie: Yes! I brought my color-coded note cards for just such an occasion!
Demi: Then what are we waiting for? Let’s get to it!
Time - 10 hours
You and Demi head back to the fair with Maddie and Brandon in tow. Throughout the quad, people are still isolated at their tables or squabbling with their neighbors.
Demi: Well… here goes nothing.
Maddie: Just remember, project an aura of authority!
Brandon: And also approachability!
Maddie: Be firm!
Brandon: And also friendly!
Demi: Um… all right. Danny, do you have any advice?
Danny: Yeah. Just remember, the most important thing is to bring people together!
Demi: Got it! I know just how to work that in…
As Demi climbs up onto a table and stands tall, everyone turns to look!
Demi: Everyone, please! This arguing has got to stop! This is exact opposite of what a Club fair is about! A very good friend have me some wise advice… Clubs are meant to bring us together, not drive us apart! We can’t get so caught up in defending our opinions, that we lose sight of how lucky we are… Lucky to be gathered here, surrounded by friends! Now, I don’t know about you… But to me, that sounds like cause to celebrate!
The crowd erupts into spirited applause!

Later…
Brandon: Looks like the rousing speech worked! People are joining and combining clubs left and right!
Maddie: The DJs decided to combine forces and make one EDM club! And the Monet club and the Degas club are now one mega Impressionist Club!
Danny: You did great, Demi!
Demi: Well, I had some awesome help. Thanks for the tip, Danny! It really tied my speech together.
Danny: Speaking of your speech… didn’t you mention something about celebrating?
Part 6
Demi: A successful initiative calls for a proper celebration!
You catch up with Demi as the party winds down…
Danny: Hey, Demi! How’s the party going for you?

Danny: Well, when you put it like that… I’m glad to have a friend like you around!
